of the truck flying down past the Krystals less than a block after that turn, makes me realize he likely chose that electric truck not just for the extra mass from the battery (electric trucks have more mass and are heavier and more capable of damage in a collision), but also for the fact that EVs can accelerate much quicker than a regular truck (one tesla model has a record under 2 seconds of 0-60, which rivals and beats even exotic supercars of the ICE variety). He needed little to no run-up to get up to speed and kill as many as possible.
