The woman who says she was sexually assaulted by three U.S. Naval Academy midshipmen is scheduled to testify at a hearing.
The female midshipman was expected to testify early Wednesday morning at an Article 32 hearing at the Washington Navy Yard. Such hearings are held to determine whether there is enough evidence to proceed to a court-martial.
The first day of the proceedings ended late Tuesday after lawyers spent hours during a closed-door session arguing about what evidence would be admissible.
Midshipmen Josh Tate, Eric Graham and Tra'ves Bush are charged with sexually assaulting the woman at an off-campus house after she had passed out from a night of drinking.
