Michael Diehl says he has 30,000 reasons not to vote for Donald Trump for president.
The small businessman said he won a bid in 1989 to supply $100,000 worth of grand pianos to Trump's Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City but was still waiting to be paid months after delivery. The gambling mecca finally told him it ran into financial difficulties and could only give him 70 cents on the dollar.
Diehl, 88, told NBC News that even though he held up his end of the contract, he felt he had no choice but to take the discounted payment and lose $30,000 — or about a third of his yearly income.
"I needed the money because the manufacturers needed to be paid," he said. "It hurt. It was hard to get over."

so a hundred or more allegations of late payments over a thirty year period. This includes charges from individual servers, waiters, etc.
How many contractors and employees and subcontractors did Trump employ in that time period?
Just like 4 bankrupcies over a period of 1-200 hundred different companies is a very good record running a multibillion dollar company over thirty years with only 100 or so cases is also a very good record.
On the related Trump U issue do you realize how many plaintiffs are actually on the case?

I saw some interviews w/ some of the contractors last night. He put people out of business.
And the reason is that there are just so many, you can't pay 'em all? Really?
Maybe if that's too hard for him to keep track of, the Presidency might be a bit much for him.
How many people have you stiffed in your life? Trump doesn't get a pass just because he's Trump.
what I am saying is that due to the scope of the business he has handled things like this will pop up. Remember its a multibillion dollar enterprise spanning countries. Only having 100's over a thirty year period is not bad.
Consider the servers. If you consider each instance of a contractual worker like a server as a seperate employee (like in this case) the trump organization has probably gone thru a million employees already in its life.
The only way to avoid things like this is to not do anything with your business at all. Think about it. You say Trump has ruined people in these 100's of cases? How many thousands of other companies have been helped by doing business with the Trump organization? How many millions provided employment?
Libs say trump would have been better off just putting his money in mutual funds or other wall street investments (lets just pretend no market crash happens) which is exactly what is wrong with the rich as they
dont reinvest the money to create jobs.

If Trump can't handle something that simple, how is he going to handle all of the responsibilities he'll have as President? Give me a break. I swear, the only fun thing about a Trump Presidency would be watching you guys do back-flips trying to defend every stupid & terrible thing he does.
or realize that a multibillion dollar company spanning continents will always have issues like this.
If it was a real issue where he stiffs a majority of his suppliers no one would work with his company and they are clearly still lining up for his projects.

I worked for a $7 billion company that "spanned continents." They had thousands of suppliers and contractors. They didn't miss paying their bills. There weren't hundreds of business whose invoices just "slipped through the cracks."
