Pentagon explains Black Sea withdrawal
US ships were pulled from the Black Sea in January, ahead of the escalation in Ukraine

Washington made a “prudent decision” to withdraw two US Navy destroyers from the Black Sea in January, and their eventual return will be decided based on national security considerations, the Pentagon said on Wednesday.

The US Navy “routinely” moves ships into or out of the Black Sea, but made the call to withdraw the two Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyers sometime in January, Department of Defense spokesman John Kirby told reporters at the Pentagon daily briefing.

Kirby was commenting on the revelation made by the European Command head, General Tod Wolters, earlier in the day, when he told the House Armed Services Committee that the two destroyers were withdrawn due to the worsening situation in Ukraine.

So then- NATO had no intention of addressing Russia's security concerns and expected the outbreak of a Ukrainian war as a consequence.

Anybody thinking that NATO is not responsible for the war doesn't have their full mental faculties.

The West lead by America still has no interest in addressing Russia's legitimate security concerns, we are out to crush Russia, which China will not allow. This is some of the worse irresponsibility ever seen in history, the consequences of which will be devastating globally.

Let's see. The US leaves the possible War Zone so as NOT to become involved. And that means 'NATO is responsible'.

I don't doubt for a moment that Biden had no intention of supporting Ukraine.........however I believe he and Putin did not have a clear agreement on what a mild incursion was supposed to look like........Putin played Biden like a cello......

I heard an expert say last week that not a single country in Africa or South America or Central America is willing to comply with US sanctions against Russia. If true then that is stunning, and a really bad sign for America.

Look at the dollar currency map I posted. The US is desperate to defeat Russia and then China so the US empire can survive.

Well, I wouldn't go that far.

Putin did not have to invade Ukraine.
And he certainly did NOT have to invade Ukraine proper.

Sure, Russia is terrified of NATO.
And with fairly good reason....they promised to never go past the iron curtain.
Let alone enter a former Soviet Republic.

But that does not justify invading Ukraine proper.


I have said before - I have little problem with Russia trying to end the War in Donbas by helping Donetsk and Luhansk secure their regions.
Both of whom voted overwhelmingly in 2014 to leave Ukraine.

But no matter what NATO does - that does NOT give Russia the right to invade a country just to give themselves a buffer zone to NATO.

Russia doesn't have legitimate security concerns.
 
My fear is when the real confrontation start happening over the mineral wealth on the continent of Africa. China is making serious in roads to replace the legacy of European and Western colonialism.
