UNSEAT lieberman

Bill Press called him the most powerful Senator in decades this morning.
So, stop the presses some asswhole tool in Congress is doing something to further himself and his wife's already fraudulently aquired massive net worth.

Lieberman opposes things he supported about three months ago. There is no rational basis to his opposition. Why people think he is acting out of principle is beyond me. He's being a dick because he can. That's all there is to it.

2 rationalisations;

1. Switching to the GOP, but now officially, offering his vote for their support.
2. Becoming a big bucks lobbyist for the Defense or
Healthcare industries or both.

With his disgraceful actions yesterday, Liberman has shown himself unworthy of being an American senator. The senate needs to vote to unseat him, which will give Connecticut a chance to have a special election and replace him with a decent human being.

I'd like to shove his head in a toilet bowl.

But Lieberman is just a symptom of the problem.

The lion’s share of the blame falls on Obama’s shoulders. Obama didn’t provide any leadership. He didn’t fight for single payer healthcare, let alone advocate in any substantial way for a weak ass public option. LBJ would have kicked the living shit out of any Democratic senators who bitch slapped him the way Lieberman, Max Baucus and Mary Landrieu did. LBJ would have never let Lieberman pull this shit, if it was something LBJ really wanted. The truth is, this “compromise” bullshit is probably close to what Obama wanted all along. Personally, I think anyone who was paying attention 12 months ago could have seen that Obama is no progressive. He’s one of those wishy-washy so-called centrists, who is in reality a pro-business, right of center Democrat. That’s why he was way down on my pick list during the Democratic primary. Although I dug that he knew from the beginning that the Iraq War was a rightwing blunder of epic proportions.

The way Obama intended to govern was pretty self-evident all along, the dude surrounded himself with Wall Street types and ex-Clintonistas. It’s totally freaking laughable that wingnuts call obama a socialist. What this country needs is a good dose of Bernie Sanders, Howard Dean, Barbara Boxer. Obama wasn’t it. A hell of a lot better than Bush, Cheney, Palin, and Warhawk McCain. But I’ll keep my lefty stret-cred and call Obama for what he is. A corporate Democrat. Lieberman ain’t really the core of the problem. Joementum is just a dork who represents insurance company interests
