Unintended consequences of the "Legitimate rape doesn't cause pregnancy" claims

Imagine being raped. Then going thru the horrors that a rape trial tends to be for the victim. Then finding out you are pregnant and deciding to keep the child. Now the monster who raped you can demand visitation??? WTF?

And if there are people out there who believe this malarky about the way the female body works, does her pregnancy show she wasn't really raped?

But how did we end up with a society that allows rapists to get visitation??
 
A friend of mine just tweeted, only a few moments ago: I will not get involved in discussions of rape on the internet. I will not I will not I will not.

I told her, thanks hon I needed that you must be living the same life online that I am!

That is pretty fucked up, I can't say for sure but I doubt that would be allowed in this country. Anyway, surely he would have been put on a sex offender's register.
 
yeah it's pretty fucked up. It's also fucked up that if a women rapes a man, he has to pay child support for his rape baby. our world sucks.

With somebody I know, actually my sister, it was because a previous abortion so drove a guilt that to abort again would be unconscionable. I know some here will remember the story. I adopted and raised the child for a couple years until she was able to take him back and raise a fine young man.

I applaud you and your sister .. but everybody isn'y going to want a rapists child.

It isn't "his" child. What I find unconscionable, and truly an injustice, is the fact that in 31 states a rapist can sue for parental rights and visitation with the issue of his crime. That is disgusting, and by any measure is in no way justifiable. This can cause many women to give away their right to see justice in order to ensure that the criminal will not try to press parental rights.

Precisely. Women being the cause of Adams downfall are known liars and manipulators so if they got pregnant they wanted it according to the disgusting, lizard brained throwbacks.
