UK union thugs

Bloody idiot know-nowt.

Those damaging buildings have had nothing to do with the TUC."

That was only the start. Cameron and Osborne will be made to realise that they cannot parade in the clothes of the evil empress Thatcher. The sooner that 500,000 becomes 5,000,000 the better.

I do not agree with violence ..... until ALL other forms of protest have proved fruitless. Then, if the politicians wont listen they should face the consequences.
Had Americans, in sufficient numbers, risen up against bushcheneyrumsfeld the world would not be in the dire state in which it now finds itself.
Politicians, almost to a man, lie. Liars should be punished. Hard.

Low, there is so much bullshit and propaganda spouted about the cuts that it is worthwhile pointing that they amount to 3% over a four year period. In 2009-10, government expenditure was £669 billion and in 2014-15 it is projected to be £647 billion. You would think that there were 50% cuts at least judging by the hysteria coming from some of the public sector leaders. I think it is a bit rich that young Millipede was speaking at the protest considering that it was his government that fucked up the economy in the first place. The Euro shit hasn't finished either as Portugal and maybe Spain are next in line.

And then again you'd imagine that a country with "no money left" would choose to spend the pennies they have left on schools and hospitals rather than cruise missiles to Libya at a tariff of £600,000 a pop.

The NHS and education have been ring fenced, defence is being subjected to cuts. I think that it was shameful and short sighted to scrap our existing carriers and Sea Harriers without a replacement until the end of the decade. It was New Labour that recruited over 800,000 extra staff for the public sector all on index linked pensions, Gordon Brown has gone into hiding leaving his bagman Ed Balls behind.
