I been told by several people that Uber cars can be driven by several different drivers. So you can't even check the driver's ID, that has to change!

Excellent analysis by Dominic Lawson. Uber effectively wants to eliminate all its competition and is prepared to make a huge loss in the meantime. There is a name for that and it's called dumping.

Tell me how Uber are any different to the Chinese dumping steel onto the US and European markets below cost price? It is patently obvious that they want to become a near monopoly and are happy to sustain big kisses until the competition is eliminated?

It's both ffs! Uber save a fuckton of money by not carrying out any due diligence on its drivers. They maintain a hands-off attitude by calling them customers instead.

Uber is appealing the decision and will carry on as normal. They have, in the meantime, capitulated and signalled their intent to address the many concerns about dubious business practices and sexual attacks.
