U.S. terror threat at highest since 9/11: Napolitano

the government was created to serve your needs, and that includes not violating and protecting your individual rights. highways....that serves your needs....that isn't about protection. dams, electricity....etc...
no, they weren't. where is that stated in the constitution?

i never said that. ever.
your quote below would intimate otherwise.
but their overstepping does not outweight the rest of the good they do.

so you do trust. fair enough. hold accountable, absolutely. we haven't done so because we keep voting in the same people with the same promises (which are often false).
so why should I trust people with the same tendencies that are always voted in to office?

OTE=SmarterThanYou;771836]no, they weren't. where is that stated in the constitution?

you're right, the constitution doesn't expressly mention highways, postal roads don't count.... and yeah, the government doesn't have power to provide electricity....much better if we have corporations providing it.

no.

because if you have no trust, you cannot ever work with them in a beneficial manner. if i have to work with someone i don't trust, it is adversarial. your government is a good government, you've admitted it it is better than other governments. why not accept the good and work to change the bad?

i'm sorry, do we currently have government entities providing us with electricity? i'd like to know which ones.

yeah, right.

if we the people are in control, we don't have to worry about working with government in a beneficial manner, they just do what we tell them to. To imply that we have to work with them in a beneficial manner implies that we no longer have control over them. Are we NOT in an adversarial relationship with our government?

oregon....

yeah, right.

yes, i know i am right. thank you.

o i c...you believe in mob run government, eg, a true democracy. why have leaders then? why don't we all consult you....

oregon....
The three main providers of electricity in Oregon are the investor-owned utilities Portland General Electric (PGE) and Pacific Power (a PacifiCorp company), and the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), a federal power-marketing agency. The two major sources of electricity in Oregon are hydropower and coal, but natural gas is playing an increasing role in future supplies.
so you were less than honest?

yes, i know i am right. thank you.
apparently not, but you're welcome anyway.

this is you misunderstanding the nature of our country. not surprising, considering you have a public education.
