U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson to introduce legislation to direct the Bureau of Graving & Printing to design a $250 bill featuring President Trump

Anyone else remember when America would not have living people on their currency, because that would be like having a sovereign?

Sovereign refers to a person who has supreme power or authority..

That sounds about right for President Trump. With the House and the Senate...yep.

So Earl, are you happy we are becoming a dictatorship?
No, the Separation of Powers remain extant, Walter.

The people who voted decided that they want the far left loons out, Walter and they are…House, Senate, and the White House.

The people spoke last Nov.

You are on the wrong side of history, as usual and the train left you at the station.

Poor Walter.

What part of the Constitution takes away the power to budget from the Congress, and gives it to Musk?
A federal judge just ruled that our President can withhold funds.

There’s more to come, Walter. Sanctuary cities.

So, Walter, you support massive waste, fraud and abuse of taxpayer’s hard earned money.

Nice, Walter and I am sure that you oppose the deportation of violent illegal criminals, child rapists, murderers.

Impoundment is an act by a President of the United States of not spending money that has been appropriated by the U.S. Congress. Thomas Jefferson was the first president to exercise the power of impoundment in 1801.

IMO, the $50 has become the new $20. So a $250 is not a bad idea.

Certainly better than the failed $2 dollar bill or $1 coin.

When it comes to tipping, $100 is the new $20. If you want to really impress someone with a tip, I mean really blow them away, $20 won't do it. $100 will do it.

That being said, large bills just help with money laundering, so will not be introduced unless the politicians force it. And putting a living person on a bill revises our whole system of government in a bad way.

Crypto currency is way way better to launder money.

I doubt the 250 would be printed before his death. But even if it was, it's not the end of the republic. It's just a tradition, not a law as far as I know.
