Turkey to stop teaching evolution: right wing is jealous

I have always thought that Muslim fundamentalists, and American Christian extremists (aka, the GOP) have more in common than they realize, from hating gays, to subjugation of women, to loathing of western liberal democracy, to denial of basic scientific tenets.

But having met innumerable numbers of decent and cool ass Muslims and Christians in my life, I wonder if it is even a question of theology. To become fundamentalist, rightwing, and conservative maybe one just has to be an insufferable asshole?
 
See what happens when you don't keep muslimes in check? But you think importing more and more of them without restriction won't lead to the same thing here. What would stop them if their numbers became large enough? You?
 
Rightist garbage. The right believes in Darwinism in everything besides it's one legitimate context - nature. Think about it, their entire ideology is based around social darwinism and ethnic darwinism. Which is bullshit and an illegitimate application of the theory. Yet they reject its application to the natural world, which is the only place where it should legitimately be applied.

It is like liberals in New York who vote for shitty policies then after the state turns to shit those liberals move to places like Florida only to vote for the same shitty policies that caused them to leave in the first place.
