Tucker Carlson plans to host a three part series on the Jan. 6 riot, claiming the rioters were not rioters but loyal Americans now being persecuted. Apart from the dishonesty, this is cowardice. If the thousands who marched on the Capitol that day believed the election had been stolen they should have revolted, as Democrats should and likely would have if the circumstance were reversed with Democrats as sure of the election's fraudulent outcome as the rioters claim they were, and as Trump and the other speakers at the rally that morning said that they were sure. Once the United States government collapses in fraud like a failed African state the country no longer is a democratic republic. Citizens must rise up, must save what the Founders created for us, and for a few hours the rioters did. Insurrection for them that morning was the rightful order of the day. If they believed what they said they believed
How quickly it all fell apart, dissolving in apologies, denial and weeping. What this seeming cowardice really shows is that the Stolen Election is itself a fraud. Republicans don't really believe it. They only say they do. It's a nasty game.
