In the rape lawsuit against Donald Trump set to open this week, the former president is faced with the very real possibility that he could continue his bid for a second term as president with the label "rapist" forever linked to his name. U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade explained that a Trump no-show would not play well with New York City jurors who are already not pre-disposed to like him. "If I were a lawyer for Donald Trump, God forbid, I would certainly advise him to be there," McQuade offered. "I think it's a bad look for a jury who is wondering what - where is he? Is there something more important than being here?"

Hopfully like many have said, his not showing up might improve his chances of winning the nomination (due to republican ignorance) but women won't be voting for a convicted rapist in the general election.
