Republicans were already fighting an uphill battle after SCOTUS got rid of Roe v. Wade, the numerous Trump criminal charges and their defense of the attempted coup. The narratives are spun by the Revolution, and they are driving to a UTOPIA were being conservative gets one crushed. Just as Christians must convert to WOKE to avoid being hurt so must Conservatives.

FWIW, the Republican Civil War has been growing for decades now. It started with Newt and the creation of the acronym "RINO". It took another step when Republicans started attacking veterans in 2000. Another step began after 2012 when the Republican Party became openly racist by dumping the results of their own Growth & Opportunity Project AKA The Republican Autopsy. This, IMO, is what oppened the door for an openly racist Presidential candidate. Trump using the power of the Republican Party to hand the Democrats a win in 2018 just to take down Republican dissenters was a final nail in the Grand Ol' Party's coffin. Now the nation is seeing open political warfare among Republicans.

Succinct.

This is compounded by the fact that some states pride themselves on electing uneducated, unqualified buffoons that will make the evening news more like Gerry Springer.

The party is on the wrong side of the key issues.

Knowing that, Republicans are relying on taking control of elections at the state level in order to create a desired outcome.

It's not even a secret.

But...their strategy here (if they can be credited with the ability) is to fuck the nation up 1 year before the election, and spend next year blaming Biden. Given the short attention span of the base, they're acting to lock up that which they already have in their pocket.

Nobody believes that the last two shutdowns were the fault of anyone but the Republicans.

This election is going to be a continuation of the failed Red Wave.
