it would have taken less time to read what I posted about the indictment than to post that I haven't done it.......sorry you have that stick up your ass.....
 
So is he going to go under oath and tell the jury he was lying back then not not now? A prosecutors dream!

But Trumptards here say he has an absolute uncontestable Constitutional right to take all the docs and no one can challenge that.

Why would Trump instead go with a defense of 'I was lying... those were not in fact classified doc's with me...' When saying, if true 'they are automatically declassified if i take them as my power of POTUS is absolute'?

Seems strange Trump and his team would not argue that Constitutional line, unless he cannot find a single lawyer to say it in court, as they know they would censured and might lose their law license for offering a specious defense. The reason why most of the lawyers sent in to argue 'stolen election' would not repeat any of Trumps "riggy" lies in court and most said they were NOT offering any such evidence or position to that.
 
This is so awesome how Trump is trapping himself in to being forced to testify. HIs lawyers cannot even offer the 'I was lying... they were not classified doc's but i want to trick my guests into believing they were' UNLESS Trump takes the stand and says it in his own words. Without him taking the stand all the jury will hear is the tape of him saying they are Secret and he cannot declassify them now, but could have as POTUS.


I so want Trump to take the stand. Jack Smith will end up with at least 10 new perjury charges, he can charge after if Trump does. And as he always does, Trump only makes the case against him a slam dunk win for the opposition ('she is not my type, 'that is Marla') when he testifies. He is just too stupid to avoid burying himself.

It does not help his legal case though because 'showing a classified doc to someone not authorized to see it', a very serious charge, was NOT charged by Jack Smith.

The charges are 'Trump had classified and gov't doc's he obstructed the return of', and 'he knew he did'.

Trump was trying to paint a defense prior, that he GENUILELY BELIEVED he had every right to have them due to the Presidential Records act, and if he was wrong in his understanding, ok he was wrong, but he had no INTENT, to defy the law.

What this tape shows is that he DOES understand the law fully. That he KNOWS, it is only as POTUS he can declassify these documents and not after.

So while i really hope, for the LULZ, that he takes the stand and makes the 'I was lying' defense, it is meaningless as a counter to the Prosecution's case.

Yes Donald, yes it does. we often reflexively do not give DJT credit for his accurate statements and this is one he should get credit for.

This does 'totally win his case' ...just not in the way he thinks it does and not for the person he thinks it does.
 
Well until you guys have proof that he showed classified documents to others you got nothing regardless of what Trump said.

Remember you have to prove this in a court of law which is going to be damn near impossible.

And Trump just bragging makes a lot more sense then him wanting to wave classified documents around.

This case is already falling apart for the left.
 
Trump just lies and lies. When he is caught as this video did to him, he comes up with a lie. If that fails he comes up with another. He keeps floating them until he thinks he has one good enough. His followers believe the first one and every one that follows.
