Trump was reportedly calling people at midnight asking if he could change VP pick

THE trump WANTS TO FIRE HIM BEFORE HE EVEN GETS THE OFFICIAL PICK....LMAO!!

When Indiana Gov. Mike Pence's plane touched down in New York Thursday, his naming as Donald Trump's vice presidential pick appeared locked up.

However, NBC News reports that Trump continued to deliberate late into the evening, waffling over his running mate selection up until midnight and asking aides if he could change his pick.

The reports are surprising given Trump previously announced he would be naming his vice presidential pick Friday at 11 a.m. in New York City, and reports from Thursday evening seemed to confirm Trump had chosen Pence.

CNN Reporter Dana Bash reported the news as well.

Word of Trump's indecision adds credence to claims that Trump's inner circle was divided over the VP appointment, with reports circulating that top aide Paul Manafort was in favor of Pence while influential son-in-law Jared Kushner was in favor of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was also among the finalists on the shortlist.

Around 7 p.m. Thursday, Trump tweeted out that he had canceled his news conference regarding his vice presidential pick, saying it was in light of the deadly truck attack in Nice, France.

@realDonaldTrump

In light of the horrible attack in Nice, France, I have postponed tomorrow's news conference concerning my Vice Presidential announcement.

He should have picked NEWT, as I have no clue who Pence is, like 95 percent of all Americans.

I am not familiar w/ him either & from what I understand he has opposed several of the aspects of the trump'a "ideas"...

I think Christie is pissed, but he will get over it...

Pence is also opposed to a woman’s right to privacy, the right of gay Americans to equal protection of the law, and the right of those transgender to due process.

"You can totally see Trump changing his mind 12 times in 24 hours, can’t you? Especially since Trump was reportedly irritated that the Pence choice leaked to the media. But what a disastrous statement about his candidacy if he can’t even commit to a vice president. Then there’s this:

"He was moved by what happened last night. It affected him and emotionally, the carnage like Paris and the idea that this is just nonstop and seems to be happening quicker and quicker in more and more places was bothersome and he thought it was totally inappropriate in the aftermath of that tragedy to do something even as important as what he was going to do this morning.

That’s a lovely spin from Manafort, but the president doesn’t get to react emotionally and just scrap his plans to do important things. This doesn’t telegraph respect (especially because it’s Trump, who never telegraphs respect). It shows weakness and indecisiveness.

The fact that Trump went ahead and tweeted that Pence was his official choice just hours before Pence’s deadline to withdraw from the Indiana gubernatorial race only makes this slightly less of a train wreck. Once again, Trump has managed to underscore what an erratic president he’d make."

Maybe Loyal Lapdoggy Hack Hussein will wag his Trump-tail and tell us how good and smart his Master is for picking Pence.

Good points............. I dunno but they don't seem to make a happy couple, IMHO!!

I'm sure Trump was trying to find a way of being his own VP, because he clearly does not like sharing even the smallest bit of the limelight.
