Trump must think that Gitmo is still a place where prisoners are stripped naked, stacked like pancakes, and tortured with barking dogs and waterboarding. It's not. It's a place of legal limbo, and not a place of torture. And since the home-grown terrorist would not have been covered under Trump's travel ban, and since he was radicalized in America and not Uzbekistan... what exactly is Trump talking about?

Wouldn't it be great if Trump had actual knowledge or possessed the trait of intellectual curiosity?

Home grown? The man came here on a 'diversity visa' in 2010. He is not a US citizen.

It was home grown in the sense that he was radicalized IN AMERICA. And he wouldn't have been covered in the travel ban.

Gitmo is in Cuba, outside of America's justice system (which Trump summarily trashed), and the justice there isn't swift.

Anyway, Trump should STFU when it comes to America's criminal justice system. He should have learned his lesson after the Central Park Five.

So....

1) He was not homegrown.
2) You say he was radicalized here, yet his neighbors say he rarely attended the Mosque. So where are you getting that he was radicalized here?
3) I am quite aware of where Gitmo is. That has nothing to do with the fact that he isn't a US citizen. He had permanent residency here. That is it.
4) He drove a truck through a crowd of innocent people, killing 8 of them. he left a note claiming he did it for ISIS. So fuck him.

Why do you think he was “radicalized” only after he got here?

Is there something inherent in the United States that radicalized muslimes AFTER they get here?

Muslimes have been coming here for years why only now are they becoming “radicalized” here?

Should we investigate his mosque? If he was “radicalized” there, should we shut it down?

Why does it appear that only muslimes become “radicalized” when they get here? Why not the Mexicans? Japanese? Chinese? Indians?

How is that for intellectual curiosity?

It is amazing seeing liberals casually say “he was radicalized here” as if the discussion ends there. As I stated it only shows what shallow thinkers they are. They are only approaching this in the context of Trumps travel ban and now what is best for the safer of US citizens.

A) how do you know where he was radicalized?

B) He was radical because he was Muslim, in fact 2/3s of all those entering on diversity visas are Muslims, he nor the 23 person immigration chain he brought with him had any business in the west to begin with.

C) Heil Breivik death to Islam and those who support its continued existence in the west!
