Trump University - could there be a clearer warning?

It's being reported on CNN that ex-employees are calling it a "fraudulent scheme" and a "total lie," that "preyed on the elderly and uneducated to separate them from their money."

http://money.cnn.com/2016/06/01/news/trump-university-employees/index.html

Here is the message, people: TRUMP IS A CON MAN. It's not even disguised, or challenging to figure out. We have this very prominent example (along with others, but this one - with Trump's promise of "hand-picked" instructors - couldn't be more obvious).

As GW once said, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...well, won't get fooled again.

You know, when you start taking allegations and pretending their fact, you really have a problem. This case is ongoing, but I'm not surprised you're quick to believe it is true because you don't like Trump.

It could be true, but you don't know that.

Like no "ex-employee" would ever - ever lie.

from what i saw in the article some students were not happy with trump u while others said it helped them.

I would wager any other university has its share of successes and failures.

Very true. I just read about a case where a student sued her school because she didn't get the job she wanted and claimed the school lied about her chances etc. She lost.

Kind of hard to get Thing to be objective about anything Trump though.

Trump already admitted that he didn't "hand pick" the instructors, and didn't even know most of their names.

Do you really not believe these accounts? Did you see the sales playbook for Trump U. that was posted online this week? It's a classic sham.

And like I said, this is hardly an isolated situation. Dude is a total con. I'm genuinely curious about people who aren't able to see through that at this point.

but the consumers of the product sold said they were satisfied with it. At least some of them did. Some were dissatisfied. Just like any other educational course.

And like I said, you take any allegation against Trump as PROOF he committed the wrong.

You're the gullible one.

The guy lies his ass off and is a moron, but you're also being a moron by simply believing anything anyone says that is negative about him.

NO - NO - NO; because when it is anything that has to do with Trump, EVERYONE has to be satisfied or else it's not right and people have to seek shelter in their safe places.

well they do think highly of trump. They expect 100% of his students to be successful.

Something ivy league schools dont accomplish.

Thing will probably claim Trump paid them off and Troll will just keep flooding the thread posting news stories that say the same thing.

You're a fool. This isn't hearsay. This is a national trial for fraud.

And we know what Trump does at this point; he's a con man. You even admitted that he lies.

But continue to argue that everyone else isn't telling the truth, and that there is no merit to this.

Hearsay? I didn't even mention that. Show where I have once argued everyone else isn't telling the truth.

You're the one lying now. What about the people who say it was not fraud? Are they lying?

what we are saying is that some consumers were satisfied with the course and say it helped greatly while some were not.

Just like any other educational seminar.

There should be a special place in hell for those Trumptards who pressured poor people to take out $35K loans to pay for this grift.

Where is your proof of your claims? You certainly demand much more proof when someone makes a claim about Hillary, surely you will do the same here.

“From the very beginning Trump University speakers told students to raise their credit card limits so that they could be ready to purchase real estate. In fact, the speakers then told students to use their increased credit limits to purchase the next level of Trump University,” former sales manager Ronald Schnackenberg wrote in his testimony. Schnackenberg recounted a specific incident in which he was reproached for refusing to sign up a couple, who he said clearly could not afford the $35,000 price of the class. He resigned after watching another salesman convince them instead. “I believe that Trump University was a fraudulent scheme and that it preyed upon the elderly and uneducated to separate them from their money.”

Iraq War veteran Corinne Sommer is not allowed to talk about Trump University after she was fired in 2007.

But in a deposition first made public on Tuesday, Sommer said she believed the real estate seminar provider terminated her because her military commitments as a reservist interfered — a little — with her work as an events planner for the company.

“I was fired because I was in the military,” she told attorneys as part of an unrelated fraud case against Trump University. “At the end of my [performance] evaluation, they wrote that it was a problem that I was in the military.” Sommer was an Army staff sergeant who had deployed to Iraq in 2003.
