Trump Tower has been on the market for about a year, and according to the lawyer for the real estate company that owns the building, a deal is currently in the works.

"A letter of intent has been signed, and they're doing their due diligence," said Symon Zucker.

Zucker wouldn't reveal the identity of the bidder.

Zucker says Trump himself has nothing to do with why the building is being shopped around.

The Trump campaign didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

"It's more important for him to be president than run a successful business," Zucker had said.

Two class action lawsuits being considered in San Diego have accused Trump University of using deceptive practices as it brought in millions of dollars from customers who were told they would learn Trump’s techniques to become successful in the world of real estate.

Trump and his attorneys have vigorously denied the fraud claims, pointing to high ratings that students gave their courses at the time.

Some of the firm’s internal documents previously became public. A 2010 “playbook”, for instance, directed sales people to rank students based on their liquid assets to determine who to target for buying courses.

In addition to the class action cases, New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman filed a $40 million lawsuit alleging that Trump had defrauded more than 5,000 individuals through Trump University, which was never licensed as an educational institution.

Trump personally earned millions from the enterprise, in which sales personnel were assigned to get people to pay $1,495 for a three-day seminar in real estate techniques.

In selling the courses, Trump released a marketing video that said, “We are going to have professors and adjunct professors that are absolutely terrific, and these are all people who are going to be handpicked by me.”

One of the university’s top executives, Michael Sexton, testified in one of the class action suits that “none of the professors at the live events” were handpicked by Trump.

Depositions quote Trump acknowledging a lack of close involvement with mentors and students.

Campaign and legal representatives for Trump could not be reached for comment Saturday.

DOES TRUMP WANT TO CUT SOCIAL SECURITY?

Trump supposedly told House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) he supports cutting Social Security but will not admit it publicly because it would hurt his election chances, according to a report in Bloomberg BusinessWeek.

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee reportedly made the comments during a May 12 meeting with Ryan aimed at mending ties between the two top Republican leaders, Bloomberg reported, citing an unnamed source who was in the room.

“From a moral standpoint, I believe in it,” Trump said of cutting Social Security. “But you also have to get elected. And there’s no way a Republican is going to beat a Democrat when the Republican is saying, ‘We’re going to cut your Social Security’”.

Last week — after intense pressure from the news media — Donald Trump made good on a promise he had made in January. He gave $1 million of his own money to a charity for veterans.

On Tuesday morning, the day after Memorial Day, the Republican has scheduled a news conference at Trump Tower in New York. He is expected to announce that he had made good on a separate promise to veterans, made at the same time as the $1 million pledge.

Now, he is giving away other people's money.

In January, donors big and small had entrusted funds to the Donald J. Trump Foundation, a charity he controls.

Trump had promised to act as a middleman and give their money away to veterans charities.

All the gifts relate to a Jan. 28 fundraiser that Trump held in Iowa, on a night when he skipped a GOP debate as part of a feud with Fox News, the debate's host.

At Tuesday's news conference, Trump has a chance to clear up several lingering questions about his handling of this money meant for veterans.

Now — after weeks of delays, stonewalling, and repeated false statements from Trump and his campaign — it has become a test of the candidate's ability to deliver on a promise.

TRUMP LIKES PEOPLE WHO WEREN'T CAPTURED

Trump told a motorcycle rally on Sunday that people in the U.S. illegally often are cared for better than the nation's military veterans.

Congress and many states have written an assortment of laws and policies designed to restrict government services to people living in the country illegally

Rolling Thunder spokeswoman Nancy Regg estimated Sunday's event drew about 5,000 people.

Trump, who frequently boasts about his crowd size, however, claimed that 600,000 people were outside trying to get in.

Trump, who avoided the draft, drew scrutiny for not immediately distributing the $6 million he'd claimed to raise, including $1 million he'd pledged himself.

He claimed that "600,000 people" "were outside" and "couldn't get in" to the biker rally.

It was held outdoors on the National Mall in DC. :palm:
