It's ironic that a draft dodging coward who avoided military service five times, would suggest a civil war?!!

Former President Donald Trump shared a post on his social media platform that appeared to propose or predict a civil war in the U.S.

A Truth Social user suggested “civil war” in response to from El Salvador’s president, Nayib Bukele, which was screengrabbed and posted to Truth Social by former Fox Nation host Lara Logan. Trump “retruthed” the comment about civil war.

“The most powerful country in the world is falling so fast, that it makes you rethink what are the real reasons,” Bukele’s tweet read. “Something so big and powerful can’t be destroyed so quickly, unless the enemy comes from within.”

Anything to get attention.

Trump is pathetically deplorable.

And his followers need to ask themselves some very serious questions.

Hello APL,

Makes you wonder if Joe McCarthy was right. He was just in the wrong period.

Perhaps, in a way.

But it's not like the American extreme right is openly advocating for communism. They claim they want freedom, but their idea of freedom is quite warped. They think their own freedom means white dominance over other races. They can't deduce that freedom does not include the right to be oppressive.

What kind of 'freedom' includes advocating for preventing schools from teaching the real and very troubling racial history of America?

Do they want our youngsters to learn that slavery was some kind of compassionate favor being done to 'lift' Africans above the life and culture they had known on their home continent?

I suppose that 'teaching' would not include telling our children that it was illegal to teach a slave to read and write?
