"There's a huge caveat in the US' expulsion of 60 Russian diplomats"

"President Donald Trump's administration announced this week that it would expel 60 Russian diplomats from the US and close a Russian diplomatic compound in Seattle"

"But there's a catch."

"A State Department official confirmed to Business Insider that the White House's diplomatic expulsion will not require Russia to reduce its staffing levels in the US, and vice versa. A reporter asked if Russian President Vladimir Putin is "a friend or a foe."

We'll find out," Trump answered. "I'll let you know. There will be a time when I'll let you know. You're going to find out very quickly."

Trump has blown his crap up in Syria. Killed some Russian mercenaries in Syria. His energy policy does anything but help Vladie Boy. He’s kicked out Russian ambassadors.

What does Trump have to do, bomb Leningrad?
 
When you think about it, they are soul mates.

They both work to undermine democracy, they are both authoritarians, and as far as I can tell Trump is in the thrall of Russian banks and oligarchs.

Russia's goal since 1947 has been to undermine the concept of western liberal democracy, and undermine the status of the United States.

Trump losing the popular vote by millions, and still being installed as president by an archaic and undemocratic electoral college, thus thwarting the will of the people, must have been music to Putin's ears. He could not ask for a better partner in crime at discrediting western democracy than Donald Trump and the Republican Party.

Putin may well have orchestrated all of that.

Why?

PR purposes maybe? Make it look less like the two of them are in bed together.

Give credence to what you dummies are claiming about there being no collusion between them.

Could be many things. The main thing is not to take anything those two do or say at face value.

They are slimeballs with ulterior motives, who cannot be trusted.

People like you who think they know more than they do based on what they've read somewhere, probably at biased websites, are such a laugh because you don't know what you don't know and refuse to accept that there might even be something you don't know.

There can be any number of ulterior motives at play that neither you nor anyone else has the slightest clue about. Those "mercenaries" who were killed could've been stooges sent there unbeknownst to them, to be sacrificed for appearance's sake. Same with the missiles. There could be some twisted reason Putin wants them in the hands of who they're going to.

Putin is ex-KGB. Those people were masters of the sleight of hand. Get you looking in one direction while they're doing something else in the other.

The point is that you don't know anymore about Putin's true intentions than anyone else does.
