Oil and gas prices have spiked with the war in Iran. That has President Donald Trump pivoting from bragging about low gas prices, to now saying oil prices make the country “a lot of money" because of its oil production.

Won’t even bother with the “we make a lot of money” idiocy
Amazes me that people cry about gas prices, what did tney think was going to happen, gas prices always go up and down mirroring world events, a few days of good news and t gas prices could shrink just as fast.
But what is typical is that apparently, which surprises no one, Trump seemingly didn’t anticipate such, if he had, plans would have been in place to totally secure the Straits of Hormuz before the first bomb even dropped. Just like most of this war, Trump, and his ass kissers, are in way above their heads, what he and they probably thought would be as cut and dry as Venezuela has instead turned into the usual Middle East quagmire.
And his solution now is to reward Russia, the same Russia embarrassing him in the Ukraine and an ally of Iran
