march 22 2024 Former President Donald Trump stands to get a windfall of $3.5 billion now that shareholders of Digital World Acquisition Corp. have approved a merger with his Truth Social on Friday.

The potential multibillion dollar infusion comes as New York Attorney General Letitia James is moving to seize Trump’s assets to pay a $464 million bond in his New York civil fraud case.

The long-delayed merger came after the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved it last month, and means that Trump’s company Trump Media & Technology Group will trade on the stock market under the stock ticker “DJT” as early as next week.

Trump will own nearly 79 million shares in the newly-merged company, which is currently around $41 per share.

The former president will not be able to cash in his stake until six months after the merger, but Talking Point USA’s Founder and CEO Charlie Kirk posted on X that Trump could seek a waiver to do so in order to pay the bond so he can appeal the fraud case.

Trump makes money. It is what he has always done. The windfall might be a sign that someone up there likes him. it has to piss the traitors here off very badly. That makes it a good thing.

No, trump will not. trump will make a paper profit of about $3.4 billion, but possibly much less. he will not be able to make the windfall itself for 5 years. 5 years is an interesting number.

Basically in 5 years, if he is elected, alive, and still in power, he can make far more than $3.4 billion. If any one of those are off, he will probably make close to nothing.

trump is in poor health, has less than even odds of being elected, but the last one, staying in power after his possible second term is the really difficult one. I doubt the American people will ignore a 230 year old Constitution.

trump needed cash, but he prioritized the appearance of making money over getting that cash.

Horse mierda, Walter.

Trump's health is “excellent” and that he has recently lost weight through an “improved diet” and “daily physical activity.” Mr. Trump's physician, Dr. Bruce Aronwald, wrote the single-page report over two months.

Poor Walter.

Horse mierda, Walter.

What would you say the odds of trump being president 5 years from now?

Mr. Trump's physician, Dr. Bruce Aronwald, wrote the single-page report over two months.

It took him two months to write a single page report?

I remember the supposed letter from a previous doctor for trump, where the doctor apparently forgot his own name... And pretty much all trump's doctors have been investigated for drug dealing.

5 years?? You don't know what you're talking about. He'll be able to sell in 6 months though of course he won't sell all at once. Would get a terrible price if he did that.

slightly off topic, but needs to be addressed. The American people have been ignoring the Constitution for over 200 years because their government has been ignoring the Constitution.

Yup. And you don't have to look far. The very first words of the constitution after the preamble are, "All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a congress of the united states." And yet judges, bureaucrats, and presidents write laws all the time.
