Trump deported record number of undocumented immigrants, despite what Obama says

Looks like "maybe" anatta should have hit that link instead of the like button :dunno: President Obama deported record number of undocumented immigrants, despite what Donald Trump says

The reported numbers have changed because consolidation of statistical reporting, judge ordered deportation numbers used to be the reported number of deportations but now all of the categories of illegal aliens given the boot is the reported number of deportations.

Those caught near the southwestern border and sent back were called "voluntary departure" or "excluded" (not classified as a deportation for statistics) and a large number of illegal aliens who never went before a judge before being sent back called "expedited removals" (not classified as deportation for statistics) and there are those court ordered deportations which used to be the only number used for statistical reporting. Now they are all being called deportations for statistical reporting of total eventhough they do break it down by category the total is what they now use.

I think it changed back in the late 2000's/early 2010's, been a while since I read about it.

You know that all these campaign slogans sound great, and if they do, they will be used continuously. Let Trump keep talking about immigration policy and his promise to fix an enormous problem. If he keeps his promise, cool.
Yes, Obama allowed the deportation of illegals. We also have to realize that no one, not a one, since Reagan flopped on amnesty, has done anything about illegal immigration, the incentives so many come here for.
Just deporting to have the numbers to look good doesn't solve anything.
Again, here is my stance on this.
Streamline immigration so those who want to come here can do so.
Stop the bilingual nonsense.
Don't rip families apart, but enforce the law such that incentives for illegals are gone. Don't reward people for breaking the law. No other country does that.
We need people, and I am so proud that millions want to live in our great nation. Let them come here legally.

Just as he promised, the rule of law is being re-established in this great country.

Law enforcement across the board is hailing this new respect for what we ask them to do day in and day out.
Tough job just made easier
