Give himself the medal of honor, for what?!! Trump sure as hell did not distinguish himself as president and had five draft deferments too?!!

Former President Donald Trump complained that he couldn’t give himself the Medal of Honor, America’s highest award to recognize valor in military combat.

Trump gave a speech on Saturday at the Turning Points Action conference in Tampa, Florida, where he lashed out at his political foes for the umpteenth time while going on several long-winded tangents. In one of these off-script ramblings, Trump recalled a chapter from his presidency when he flew to Iraq on Air Force One to assess the battle against ISIS, and he spoke of how they had to dim the lights on the plane to avoid detection.

Trump went on and on about the “central casting” pilots who fly Air Force One, and then went into a dramatized retelling of how he sat with the pilot in the dark cockpit as the plane began its descent.

“I said ‘Captain, we’re pretty low.’ I don’t see any runway. I don’t see anything,” Trump said. Recalling how the plane got closer and closer to the ground, Trump kept on expressing concern that he couldn’t see the runway, and he recalled “I told my wife how brave I was.” This included an aside where he mocked MSNBC’s Brian Williams over his Iraq War story fabrication.

President Donald Trump said Friday that his remarks on injecting disinfectants to treat COVID-19 were sarcasm, after doctors responded with horror and disinfectant manufacturers urged people not to ingest the poisonous substances.

"I was asking a question sarcastically to reporters just like you, just to see what would happen," Trump said on Friday during a bill signing for the coronavirus aid package. "I was asking a sarcastic and a very sarcastic question to the reporters in the room about disinfectant on the inside. But it does kill it and it would kill it on the hands, and it would make things much better."

But the president's comments the day before — a lengthy musing that disinfectant or powerful light could be used to fight the virus — did not appear to be sarcasm; they were in part directed at a Homeland Security official.

Ingesting or injecting bleach into the body is extremely dangerous and doctors immediately called the president's suggestion "irresponsible" and "dangerous."

he could have given himself a Presidential Freedom Medal... That does not require any military service, nor Congressional approval.

Why yes, I did. I was 4 years old at the time of the Fall of Saigon, and the US Military just would not accept someone that young.

What I do not do is claim that I am some sort of war hero.
 
Let’s review...under Slow Joe:

There have been two (2) consecutive quarters of negative GDP (two are considered to be the definition of a recession). The next quarter is expected to be another negative GDP.

There have been two (2) bond yield reversals (this precedes a recession).

We have out of control inflation, borders and crime, and food shortages. Drugs, drug gangs, human (child and female) sex trafficking, one hundred thousand deaths of Americans from the fentanyl and other drugs passing through Biden’s open borders.

Biden is responsible for those drug related deaths and the human trafficking.

Biden is harming...and killing, hard working Americans.

It must stop.

I don’t claim to be a war hero either but I did serve my country, for eight years.

What have you done for your country, Walter, except help elect the nightmare that is in the While House?

On his worst day in office, Joe Biden has been a MUCH better president for America than Trump was on his best day in office.

It is a long story, but the short version is I was rejected from the Air Force due to torn tendons. You can be assured I wanted to serve, and was actually depending on the Air Force to pay for my education. It was a major shock to my finances that I did not serve.

There are a lot of technicalities that could make it sound like I did serve. I do not chose to say them, because it is dishonorable to claim you served when you did not.

The claim by the alt right that any man who owns a gun is a veteran, and deserves to be honored is a disgrace. I am not asking anyone to serve, but never, ever lie about serving.
