Trump’s campaign chair in a prominent Ohio county claimed there was “no racism” until Obama was elected and said black people who have not succeeded only have themselves to blame.

Kathy Miller, who is white and was a chair of the Republican nominee’s campaign, made the remarks during a taped interview.

“Growing up as a kid, there was no racism, believe me. We were just all kids going to school.”

Asked about segregation and the civil rights movement, she replied: “I never experienced it. I never saw that as anything.”

Miller added: “I don’t think there was any racism until Obama got elected.”

Miller also called the Black Lives Matter movement “a stupid waste of time” and said lower voter turnout among African Americans could be related to “the way they’re raised”.

I predict that JPP deplorables will agree with her.

This ditz isn't helping Trump with blacks. How could anybody be so willfully ignorant about U.S. history?

I believe she resigned, but I bet it is just a ruse and she probably is still in charge. Trump likes his bigots.
 
Yes, racists should be put in their place...
This woman is a plain and simple racist who should discredited.
 
What is this new idea that we need to start treating racists better?

So, if we call out a racist, that's being PC? If so, call me PC all day long.
 
Maybe they need trigger warnings and a safe space from the microaggression of calling people who say deplorable things deplorables.
