Trump Before Election: I'll Pay Off The Debt. After: Let's Eliminate The Debt Ceiling

PoliTalker

Diversity Makes Greatness
President Trump is really good at spending other people's money. He has done that his entire life.

Before being elected: "President Trump pledged to eliminate the national debt "over a period of eight years.""

Fast-forward to now.

After taking office the story has changed: "But the ever-increasing national debt isn't a frequent topic for Mr. Trump, and when it does come up, he doesn't seem too concerned. He's said he's open to eliminating the debt ceiling entirely."

CBS News

The debt was $19 Trillion when Trump said he would pay it all off.

Now it is nearly $22 Trillion and rising faster than it was when he took office (Thanks to his tax-cut for the rich.)

Your problem. You think Trump's words are honest and he has to be judged like any other person. Trump lies to get his way. He told so many lies to get elected. You can not judge him like a normal person. Trump does anything to get ahead. Trump talked about helping the people, but he has just helped the wealthy like any other Republican. That will not change.

Hello Nordberg,

Your problem. You think Trump's words are honest and he has to be judged like any other person. Trump lies to get his way. He told so many lies to get elected. You can not judge him like a normal person. Trump does anything to get ahead. Trump talked about helping the people, but he has just helped the wealthy like any other Republican. This is a national problem. I know he's the biggest liar we've ever elected. President Trump will lie to get his way.

He must be held to the same standards of decency as everyone else, and on that scale he scores pretty low.

I am constantly amazed at how he promised to stand up for middle America, but instead stabbed them in the back and immediately began sticking up for the rich, and his followers refuse to admit they have been suckered.
