I had laughed at comparisons of Trump to Hitler and even called it lazy, but now I guess I have no choice but to accept that Trump really is an authoritarian. Until now I had seen the dumbass as harmless and all of the protests over him were overblown and a product of lefty propaganda. This guy is dangerous.

And he just made me decide that I will vote for Hillary. I was going to give neither candidate my vote previous to that.

I'm not going to say "good for you" or anything because it sounds self-serving. Judging by new polling out this morning, you're not alone as Hillary has made statistically significant gains with white males and with moderates.

My personal view is that Trump is something different, and a lot of people who dislike or ideologically differ with Hillary will vote for her anyway, country over party. We'll see.
 
Trump is a lot like Hitler. Same basic pathology (not that I'm a pro, mind you). But he uses the same fear tactics, the same divisive rhetoric, the same appeal to nationalism.

Like Hitler, Trump wants everyone to think he's a man of the people, and cares about the country and wants the best for everyone. But Trump is about Trump, just as Hitler was about Hitler. Germans didn't find out until it was too late. Hitler knew that they had lost the war, but he demanded that soldiers fight until the end, just to give him more time.

Trump doesn't care about anyone else.

Also glad the democrat party never tries to scare their voters. You are such a lucky lad to belong to such a perfect political party.

Seems like just about every good person in the country is "authoritarian" by this simple definition....

2...of or relating to a governmental or political system, principle, or practice in which individual freedom is held as completely subordinate to the power or authority of the state, centered either in one person or a small group that is not constitutionally accountable to the people.


and the underlined phrase changes the simple meaning profoundly......

Can you think of anyone that is not constitutionally accountable????, at least so far.

It sure is, Trump is showing a lot of fascist tendencies, I use to think it was a bit overboard, but not anymore, not with everything he has been doing, lately, revoking press credentials because you don't like their headlines about you is really alarming.
 
Can you imagine the confusion among the Russians when they got a look at the oppo research on Trump? Vat are the Americans thinking?! Very bad business man! But Viktor why is this Trump man orange? Hmmm, very small hands! Not Russian hands
