Trouble in an otherwise awesome small town

I don't know if this is national news yet, but it's an odd story.

Back in April an elderly couple dies while staying at a Best Western hotel in Boone, NC. Then about two weeks ago an 11 year old boy dies and his mother is still in a Coma. These separate events occurred in the same room.

A story that came out this weekend is from another woman who rented the suite upstairs and her kids all got sick.

This is about incompetence of the hotel manager, the maintenance staff, as well as the public servants tasked with protecting everyone involved.

Multiple articles in my local paper. http://www.journalnow.com/collection_1c00d5fe-d29e-11e2-8a83-0019bb30f31a.html

Edited: Sorry boys. Put the dicks back. It was a simple early am typo.

The ME first suspected a drug overdose with the elderly couple. Did he think they were smoking crack in the room? Popping pills? Did he do a drug history of the couple, and talk to their physicians? Did he visit the room, probably located within a mile of his office? When the lab data came back, why did he wait ten days before announcing the findings?

The cops who did the initial investigation, did they find drug paraphernalia? Empty pill bottles? Anything at all to corroborate the ME's retarded initial finding? Did they seal the room until the findings were complete?

The hotel manager, wouldn't he be curious what a couple died in his hotel? Wouldn't he shut down the room voluntarily until he was sure there wasn't a problem with his building? Doesn't he hire a company to check out his heating/ ventilating/ AC systems? Why wouldn't he call them and ask them for an inspection? After a woman complains that her kids all got sick, wouldn't that raise more red flags? He must have given her a line of bullshit, because she was concerned enough to call the police and report it.

The cops, again, after the woman complained. No red flags?

The county building department, no curiosity there? No suspicion of a ventilation issue? No inspection?
