Maybe this explains the economic mess the GOP has made in Kansas:



A Winfield resident - who currently serves as executive director of Gov. Sam Brownback’s Council of Economic Advisors - was arrested early Saturday on suspicion of DUI.

64-year-old Stan Ahlerich, was booked into the Shawnee County Jail around 3:15 a.m., according to a news report from the Topeka Capital-Journal. He was released on bond about an hour later.
