US couple 'tried to pass nuclear secrets to Venezuela'

The husband and wife team were arrested on Friday in New Mexico and accused of passing nuclear information to an FBI agent posing as a Venezuelan spy.

US citizens Pedro and Marjorie Mascheroni were contractors at Los Alamos National Laboratory, a centre of US nuclear research.

The US justice department did not accuse Venezuela of wrongdoing.

"The conduct alleged in this indictment is serious and should serve as a warning to anyone who would consider compromising our nation's nuclear secrets for profit," Assistant Attorney General David Kris said in a statement.
 
Of course, the real traitors are the globalists who espouse the new normal, or the destruction of the middle class on the altar of sold out "free trade" zealotry.

Are you serious? That's obviously not true. Air is a mixture of gases. Fire is the incandescence of soot. Water is compound made out of oxygen and hydrogen. Earth is made out of carbon and silica. All of these can be reduced to simpler elements (besides fire, which isn't even a substance but a reaction). So HOW can they be elements in and of themselves?

The periodic table is a work of fiction to make chemistry seem harder than it really is.

actually, earth is combined of all elements

oh, and fire is oxidation...

The thing about modern chemistry, Asshat, is that I can read a chemistry book, get a gist of what's going on, go grab some chemicals, and it works. You can't say that about any other system. Especially the four elements.

With the four elements system, someone was just sitting around somewhere, came up with something, and then declared it was truth. Even though it made no predictions about the world and couldn't be used for anything useful.

how much chemistry did you study?

as for light, how about when hydrogen and oxygen are burned...not all fire is carbon based...then there is reduction where the electron jumps the other way from oxidation but you still can get heat and light

In a low oxygen environment most of the light comes from the incandescence of soot. In a fully oxygen environment the flame produces no soot and the light is instead produced by molecular radicals (which is why the light looks blue instead of yellow like normal).
