Tragedy at Dallas air show.....

I used to drag race cars myself- in a straight line. But, I had a friend that drove with the Outlaws in Oval Track, and he was beheaded in an accident. I never was interested in NASCAR or oval track racing ever again. But I still go to the NHRA drags. I do not have a race car anymore- so I don't compete anymore.

I am really not a thrill seeker type. Others may do whatever they like. But, if you are risking your life racing motorcycles at 150 MPH or something like that, I'll pass- I have better things to do than watch people risk their lives and possibly die! I hate dangerous sports as much as dangerous drugs! And I hate stupidity like the Jackass Series SHIT!

I watched a cowboy be dragged to death bronco riding. His choice to ride.

Man, I was born and raised here in Mesquite, Texas- Home of the Mesquite CHAMPIONSHIP rodeo!

One ride on the Electric Bull was all it took for me, when I was in High School. And it was Donnie Gay, one of my classmates, working the Bull- turned up to 10.

Hell, that thang threw me and swung around and kicked me in the ass and into the fence before I ever hit the ground!

No Man, I was a Cowboy, but I knew my limits. I rode my horse to the rodeo, and in the Grand Entry every Friday night, during the season, every year for years.

A woman once asked me, "Were you raised in a barn"? I confessed right there and said, "Well, Mostly"!

Was it my fault, that my horse would stop in front of the Grand Stand, holding up the entire parade, and take an occasional dump for the benefit of he crowd? I don't think so!

And I have busted a Bronc or two in my day (along with busting my own ass), but YOU AIN'T GETTING ME UP ON NO BULL!

THAT AIN'T NO BULL!!
