At Turning Point USA’s BLEXIT Liberation Show in Tampa on July 13, pro-Trump speaker and former Republican House candidate Vince E. Ellison delivered a chilling speech filled with violent and dehumanizing rhetoric.

Addressing supporters of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Ellison, who spoke after GOP Representative Nancy Mace, declared, “You are inferior. Yeah, you need it. I don’t need it.”

Ellison then escalated his remarks into a graphic threat: “You walk into my world with a DEI stamp on your chest, and I’m gonna slit your throat.” He concluded, “Yeah, I’m going to be smiling at you, boy.”

Ellison has been a frequent guest on Fox News programs. He has also appeared on The Charlie Kirk Show. In January 2024 he joined Kirk in attacking Martin Luther King Jr. as "despicable" and "immoral."

BLEXIT, Charlie Kirk’s MAGA-aligned outreach initiative to Black voters, hosted the event as part of a broader weekend of activism in Tampa, which also included Turning Point’s Student Action Summit which Ellison also participated in. His violent comment at the BLEXIT event has yet to be publicly condemned by TPUSA leadership on social media.
