Because there have been some pretty effing terrible military decisions throughout history.
Yea, it's real hard to pick just 10... Like the decision to invade Iraq & attack Lybia, of course that assumes you weren't hoping to destabilize the area & foster more terrorism..
I would think the invasion of Afgani-NAM by the Brits, Russians & then the Americans was pretty stupid as well..

NO!!!! First it was to get one man, then it was get to rid of the talliban, nation build etc etc etc........ & we are still there...
We can be there 100 years & it will be pretty much the same...........
