Donald Trump Trails Hillary Clinton Significantly In The Money Race
He’s starting out $200 million behind.

WASHINGTON — Donald Trump is starting the general election match-up against Hillary Clinton in a precarious financial position. By the end of April, the most recently available period for campaign disclosures, the Trump campaign and groups that will support him trailed Team Clinton by more than $200 million. At the same point in 2012, Mitt Romney and his team trailed President Barack Obama by about $65 million less than that.

According to campaign finance records, Trump and the Republican National Committee combined raised $209 million through April. The Clinton campaign, the Democratic National Committee, the Hillary Victory joint fundraising committee and the two super PACs most closely associated with her campaign, Priorities USA Action and Correct the Record, raised a combined $410 million. This finance comparison is for the period before Trump became the presumptive Republican nominee and announced he would begin fundraising in earnest for the general election rather than continue to self-finance.

Team Hillary Clinton v. Team Donald Trump Fundraising (Through April)

Reaching some form of parity with the Clinton campaign will be essential for Trump and the Republicans to adequately fund the party’s operations, from data and tech to basic get-out-the-vote operations. Trump’s campaign already has just 70 staff members to Clinton’s 732. The party has rapidly put together a fundraising apparatus for the billionaire eccentric’s campaign and sent him on a fundraising tour, but his wacky ideas and obsession with media-heavy coastal states may make it nearly impossible for him to close the money gap.

Who would have guessed that the self-funded, supposed billionaire, may lose the election because his campaign is grossly underfunded?

No one cares that Trump can't raise HALF the money that Clinton can?
I'll bet the Donald thinks that's pretty YUUUUUUUUUGE!

No wonder he's begging big donors and lobbyists for money.

I heard that his net worth is way less than what he claimed it was.

I don't doubt that he is rich. Maybe even a multi millionaire. But if he were truly worth 10 billion dollars he would not be going, hat in hand, to the GOP big money guys looking for support.

He is a YUUUUUUUUUGE FRAUD!

Mark Cuban Says Donald Trump Running Behind on Fundraising

Mark Cuban continued to needle sometime rival Donald Trump on Wednesday, saying Mr. Trump’s late start to traditional fundraising will leave him heavily dependent on donors to compete in the general election, as he doesn’t have available the hundreds of millions of dollars needed to fund it mostly himself.

In a series of tweets Wednesday, Mr. Cuban, a billionaire entrepreneur, reality-TV personality and owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks, said Mr. Trump is lagging “far behind” in fundraising, adding that the presumptive GOP nominee will have to “grovel for cash” if he wants to run a successful campaign.

Mr. Cuban cited his read of Mr. Trump’s recent Federal Election Commission disclosures showing his cash and cash equivalents. “He had less than 165 [million] in cash and falling for a campaign that will cost 750 [million] or more,” Mr. Cuban said in a tweet.

A source in the room for the meetings at New York’s Four Seasons Hotel told NBC that Trump spoke to the room “about how he did [in the primaries] and what he thinks of the general, thus far.” The source, who agreed to speak on condition of anonymity in order to talk more freely about the meeting, added that Trump made a general election pitch based on broadening the electoral map come November. Paraphrasing what Trump told the room, the source says Trump listed California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey (calling out, “Right, Chris?!” to hammer the point home), and “maybe even Maryland” as states that he could put in play. On the trail, Trump has made this point before, saying that he plans to target and play hard in traditionally blue states, like New York and California, though polling in those states shows an uphill battle for Trump.
Yet again, the idiot is depending on his own personal media marketing instead of having a team and organization. That might have worked in the primary as the media were more than happy to help him destroy the Republican party, but not so much when he goes against their gal, Hillary.

Trump super-PAC co-chairman says Trump unable to self-fund campaign

The chairman of a super-PAC supporting Donald Trump said earlier this week that the presumptive Republican nominee doesn’t have the funds to self-finance his campaign.

During an interview with Fox News Radio’s “Kilmeade and Friends” on Tuesday that was first reported by Buzzfeed, Ed Rollins, co-chairman of the Great America PAC, talked about how the Trump campaign was struggling to respond to attacks from Hillary Clinton.
“The Trump campaign, at this point, is (playing) catch-up,” he said. “I think the dilemma was, he talked about self-funding his campaign, he self-funded his primary, now he certainly doesn’t have the resources, or says he doesn’t have the resources, to self-fund the rest of the way, so it’s a scramble to get the money and get the resources together.

“I mean we will get there,” Rollins added, “it’s just right at this particular time, we are not prepared to counter attack, at least the PAC I am involved in doesn’t have the ability to counter attack.”

During the primary, Trump touted his ability to self-fund his campaign as making him immune to wealthy donors and lobbyists. Since becoming the presumptive nominee, however, he has begun courting wealthy donors to raise money for his campaign as well as for the Republican National Committee.

What will Trump have to give big-money donors and lobbyists in return for the campaign cash he's begging them for?

Lol. Jeb Bush out spent the Donald on a 3:1 margin and he was crushed.

Money means nothing this election cycle.
