This book for NYC school kids has AOC instead of ABCs

A NYC Public School, has rejected an educational book and is using AOCS book with her Socialist views....Where are the parents

New York City school kids are learning their AOCs.

A book intended for 10- and 11-year-olds — which glorifies socialist Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and her far-left “Squad,” knocks religion, and mocks Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell – is being distributed to public school libraries, parents told The Post.The book, “What You Don’t Know: A Story of Liberated Childhood,” was written and illustrated by Brooklynite Anastasia Higginbotham and appears on a fifth-grade independent reading list labeled “Universal Mosaic.” The DOE’s new Mosaic curriculum is supposed to kick off next year.

The picture book centers on a black child who talks about fitting in at school and church and a friend “who’s queer like me.”


The boy, named Demetrius, is shown in a church where he says, “Churches can preach all they want about love — the only thing that I feel when I’m here is shame.”

They wanna twist the kids' minds pre-puberty. It's pure evil.

WWJD? Jesus would take 'em out on a boat, hang a millstone around their neck, and toss them overboard.
 
For a book meant to be "uplifting" this does just the opposite... focuses on racist, divisive, religiously bigoted ideas no where near appropriate for young children...or anyone...
Her other terrible offerings....Ordinary Terrible Things Series: "Divorce Is the Worst", "Death Is Stupid", "Tell Me About Sex, Grandma", and "Not My Idea: A Book About Whiteness".
Our poor children...

It is mind-boggling that the people in NY put up with this brain washing of 6 year old children.

Pathetic no wonder our kids aren't getting quality educations. Meanwhile the rest of the world races past us in education.

Well the NYC is behind on reading.

The percentage of students in New York City who performed at or above the NAEP Proficient level was 27 percent in 2019. This percentage was not significantly different from that in 2017 (28 percent) and was higher than that in 2002 (19 percent)
