What if Global Climate change is real, but mostly not due to man-made, or any other source (Volcanos and undersea deposits) of CO2?
What if Global Climate change is due Mostly to changes in the sun's solar spectrum, and how it interacts with N2, via Rayleigh Scattering, in the upper atmosphere? CO2 and green house effect plays a small part, but it is less than 2%.
What if Global Climate change has always been happening, and is due to Stellar Magneto-dynamics, and is completely outside human control?
Ohhh, we can predict Global Climate Change, and some people will attempt to use it as a means of garnering massive political power and controlling the spending of vast wealth...
But we cannot control Global Climate Change.
Those pushing CO2 green house effect, and going to be looking pretty mercenary and corrupt, as the truth finally comes out.

Has the climate ever ceased changing?
That would be about as disastrous to all life on earth as for some reason the sun stopped shinning. I don't think that has happened given the fossil record.
A reasonable, scientific minded person, doesn't easily buy into the utter climate doom and gloom scenarios, Geological Homeostasis is a well proven theory.

Fossil fuels don’t cause bad weather.
If they did, then it would be covered in atmospheric dynamics courses. That notion is nowhere to be found in dynamic meteorology textbooks (for example, the widely-used texts by James R. Holton & Gregory J. Hakim and Jonathan E. Martin).
Bad weather will not go away if we stop burning coal, oil and gas for affordable, reliable energy.
There will still be floods, droughts, hurricanes, tornadoes, extreme heat and extreme cold.
Science tells us that CO₂ is plant food. It isn’t pollution.
