Let's recap:

In a shocking move, Joe Manchin and Chuck Schumer announce a deal on a significant portion of Joe Biden's Build Back Better agenda. Kristen Sinema signs on to give the bill the 50 votes it needs to pass the Senate. The GOP throws a hissy fit at the expense of our Veterans.

Gas prices are falling, and inventories are causing steep price drops, indicating that inflation is being brought in check. Despite another increase in interest rates by the Fed, the market remains strong.

Donald Trump, the defacto leader of the GOP is facing an imminent indictment by DOJ. The continued revelations around Trumps criminal coup are being to impact the electorate

In Kansas, voters OVERWHELMINGLY rejected the partisan Supreme Court ruing overturning Roe v. Wade. The anger around the vast overreach by SCOTUS and the Republican party is also beginning to influence the electorate.

The GOP continues to nominate unelectable candidates in key swing states, turning an almost guaranteed GOP victory in the fall into a toss up.

The economy unexpectedly added 580,000 jobs, mitigating fears of a recession.

CPAC gives a standing ovation to a Nazi, driving home the point that the GOP is a white nationalist society.

A capitol rioter who entered the capitol with a weapon is sentenced to seven years in jail.

Alex Jones is busted for committing perjury, as his fortune slowly disappears to compensate the Sandy Hook Families.

The GOP is a dead party walking. I guess you fucktards started to celebrate a bit too soon.

Not a good week for the Trump-licans

Agreed momentum has shifted somewhat. You could add that Hershel is not looking good in GA. I wouldn't be surprised if dems retain control of the senate.
That said democrats have major problems (as do republicans). They're seen as weaker now on violent crime now than they historically have been . They're WOKE BS has grown stale and tiresome.
The open border policy is a disaster. Don't forget Brandon, their party leader.
Dem policies have been a contributing factor in inflation: the $1.9 trillion of printed money to encourage workers to stay home rather than work, Biden's War on Oil
The GOP can't possibly be a dead party walking when they're the only alternative to the above.

No doubt repubs have problems too.
They're on the wrong side of popular opinion on abortion and guns. Like Biden, Trump is a liability and continuing to support that huckster makes those republican voters make the entire party look bad.

Now let's talk about the benches of the two parties for leadership.
At the moment the best I can see is the Soy Boy of Cali, Gavin. After that you might have Mayor Pete but I seriously doubt the country is ready for a male leader that takes maternity leave. Forget about Kamala.
Repubs have DeSantis (yes I know you hate him, but he's a polished conservative unlike Trump), Greg Abbott, Kristi Noem, Nikki Haley, Tim Scott. Pence is making noise.

Every member of the GOP is complicit in treason. They have no bench. As far as I can see, the only serious candidate not touched by that is Nikki Haley. I wouldn't vote for DeSantis for dog catcher. He is polished at appealing to abject morons at the expense of governing. If you like him, you and I have nothing to debate.

trump signed a $900 billion package that provided extended unemployment benefits for those out of work due to the trump virus.

How much did the Fed 'print' for their corporate bond purchases to keep the market happy under trump?

I look forward to hearing from Brooks and Capehart, and also Washington Week tonight.

Should be some very interesting commentary!

So basically you’re saying Trump was only half as bad as Brandon in that respect.
Although it may have been slightly more essential when he did it.
Stlll bad IMO.

You continue to make everything into a wedge issue. Both the Tea Party and Occupy protested TARP and should be seen as common ground. Both republicans and democrats lost their homes in a short sale or foreclosure. Five million more families are expected to lose their housing over the next few years. School age kids don't care about your definition of treason or who deserves a roof over their head.

All in all - a great week for Democracy and against twumptard facsism.

Boo. One party wants to save our democracy. The other wants to end it. Easy choice.

GOP candidates are nothing but twumptard culture trolls with zero desire or ideas how to govern. Fuck all the GOP twumptards. Let us bring America back.

twump was a nightmare. He became president only to enrich himself and his family. You're a fucking idiot of you think otherwise.

Nevermind. You're a fucking idiot.

Having one party trying to destroy our democracy and the other trying to save it is not a "wedge issue" you twmptard.

Suck another twump dick ass wipe.

Suck that Putin cock
You are clueless to the biggening of the end of the US empire. We have become a 21st century caricature of "the sun never sets" on the British empire. The world is tired of the IMF telling them what they can or cannot do.
