I never lie. The climate changes. It has always changed. It will always change. To say that there is some "perfect" average temperature that the erf should be is ludicrous. You have been duped. The sad thing is that you are either too proud or too stupid to admit you were duped. So now we all just have to wait for you to die or when we win office "re-educate" you

Because even scientists who firmly believe in AGW say that even if the ENTIRE WORLD stops ALL emissions today, it will be centuries & likely over 1,000 years before ANY discernible change can be measured.

And for that, you'd like to cost thousands of people their jobs?
 
The Clinton admin did a study on what would happen if we agreed to limit our emissions per the standards in the Kyoto treaty way back when - they found that it would cost over 90,000 jobs.

And those were modest emissions restrictions. Which wouldn't do anything to stem climate change. Even the entire U.S. going cold turkey wouldn't do anything to stem climate change. Even the entire world doing so wouldn't do anything for centuries.

Has anyone on the left considered this? Why are we so willing to sacrifice so many jobs, for symbolic gestures?

Actually, you don't listen to science. What have I said that is scientifically incorrect?

You're willing to sacrifice 10's of thousands of jobs for actions that won't make any difference whatsoever, scientifically. How do you justify that?
 
And you call me an asshole.

Do you consider at all what each lost job means? How many families are affected - how many people who might lose their homes?
