Brutal murder of nursery teacher stabbed through the heart outside Soho nightclub remains a mystery

Despite their lengthy lines of inquiries, the Met Police remain in the dark as to the whereabouts of the killer who stabbed a nursery teacher through the heart in Soho.

It is believed that the 23-year-old was killed after a disgruntled customer became angry over his bill in the nightclub where she worked as a part-time hostess.

Camille had arrived in Britain from Jamaica in 2002 in order to train as a nursery teacher. After spending time working in children’s nurseries in Birmingham, she relocated to London in August 2003 to improve her career prospects, and stayed with a cousin in South Norwood. With costs of living increasing, she began to search for part-time work as a waitress and came across the Blue Bunny Club, a clip joint in Soho.

Clip joints are nightclubs or bars in which customers are tricked into paying excessive amounts of money. They often suggest the possibility of sex, charge inflated prices for watered-down alcoholic drinks and then throw out customers when they become unwilling or are unable to spend more money.

Detectives believe that Camille was not actively involved in the sex trade and had only been working there part-time to help fund her studying. As a hostess, she would stand in the entrance and attract customers into the club by giving them the impression that they would be able to watch a sex show or participate in some sort of sexual activity.

On March 1, Camille was working at the door of the club on Archer Street, and was seen on CCTV speaking to a man who approached her at 6:20pm. He paid the £5 entrance fee and spent about 10 minutes in the club with Camille, before he was handed a bill of around £375 when he tried to leave at 6:35pm.

He became involved in a dispute with staff and it was agreed that he would pay £80. Around half an hour later, at 7:10pm, a man returns and is seen to approach Camille in the doorway before assaulting her. After she was stabbed, she managed to stagger back into the club where she collapsed. Emergency services were called but she died of her injuries an hour later.

Homeless woman ‘stabbed university student in face with broken bottle’ after he offered her chicken nuggets instead of money

The woman from South London asked for a tenner when he offered some of his food instead.

A woman who stabbed a university student in the face with a broken bottle has been told she is a serious danger to the public after carrying out the ‘nasty and premeditated’ attack. Leeds Crown Court heard the victim had been enjoying a night out when he was approached by South Londoner Terrialena Parkin, who asked him for £10.

The court was told that the victim was sitting on a bench eating takeaway food when he was approached, and instead of offering the defendant money, he offered her a chicken nugget. Parkin is then said to have walked away without replying, before returning to the victim with a broken bottle which she used to stab him in the face.

Judge Geoffrey Marson QC described the bottle attack as "nasty and premeditated." He said: "When the victim offered you some food in an act of kindness, you walked away, armed yourself with a bottle, deliberately broke it, went back towards him and slashed him across the face, causing him a nasty wound which had glass embedded in it, which the victim had to remove."

The judge added: "You have a terrible record and you persistently breach court orders. "This is a significant escalation in your offending. I have no hesitation in coming to the conclusion that I do regard you as a dangerous offender."

Teenage boy stabbed to death during a vicious 'postcode brawl' at Royal Easter Show

Uati 'Pele' Faletolu, 17, was working on the Break Dance ride at Sydney Showground on Monday night when he was fatally knifed in the chest during a vicious brawl.

A 16-year-old boy caught up in the violence was hospitalized with stab wounds to his leg, but police are still hunting for the killer.

It also remains unclear if the victim was involved in the reported gang activity or if he was simply caught up in the melee.

Uati's 15-year-old relative was arrested after the brawl and charged with affray and carrying a knife, and granted conditional bail during a court hearing

In a video of the arrest, the teenager yelled 'six, seven, motherf**ker' as police officers secured his handcuffs.

The words have fueled suspicions the stabbing was part of a postcode rivalry between two groups.
