the republican party is DEAD

please someone check on desh/evince

after this election, i fear she is going to implode given her oft repeated comments about the death of the republican party are no longer true

The Republicans take the equation 2 + 2 and say that it equals 5. They are objectively wrong. They are a threat to America and have no right to hold office.

lol....Dems look at the equation 2 + 2 and say that the wealthier 2 is not carrying it's fair share of 4, thus 2 should share the wealth with the other 2 as well as provide the government with the entire 4.......

no, that's fine.....I think we can all agree it was a vote against Obama......

I agree. Just as the 2006 Congressional elections and 2008 elections were against Republicans and against Bush. Thus the claim the Republican Party was dead was so off because as we've seen many times momentum swings back and forth between the two parties.

I know that's the popular story, but the available information doesn't really bear that out. Rasmussen did election night polling and found that Obama had a 53% approval rating in Massachsuetts. Likewise, a Republican polling outfit had Obama with a 59% favorability rating and a 55% approval rating in Mass.

It seems to me that it's more a referendum on all of the Democrats in Washington and in Massachusetts. The voters gave them all the finger.

I saw a poll that had him at 48%, it's def a vote against hc reform in it's current redistribution of wealth package.
