Healthy people under 45 and all who have had COVID should not be getting a vax. Bret said last Sat that is is increasingly looking like Geert Vanden Bossche is right that we fucked ourselves with this mass vax program....we should have only vaxxed those who most needed it, the at risk population, and no I most certainly do not mean POC's and the trans. .

That said, I think those refusing vaccinations are fucking morons, just like "the Chosen One". Trump has misled our nation into tens of thousands of unnecessary, preventable deaths by playing politics with science.

Would be nice to see the article for the data they present but many of the red states in the South have large black populations and black and Latinx people have gotten vaccinated at lower rates than white or Asians. Do you think that is because of Trump?

Dozens of staff members at Houston Methodist Hospital protested against the facility’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for employees on Monday night, the deadline for workers to be inoculated.

Houston Methodist in April issued a mandate requiring that all staff be vaccinated by June 7, becoming the first hospital system in the U.S. to require coronavirus shots for employees. Managerial staff were given until April 15 to get vaccinated.

Houston Methodist said in a statement to The Hill it was “proud to report that almost 100%” of its 26,000 employees complied with the mandate, “making the right decision to fulfill their sacred obligation to protect our patients.”

The hospital said Tuesday that employees who did not get vaccinated by the Monday deadline were placed on a two-week unpaid suspension. If they are not inoculated before their suspension ends, the hospital said it would “immediately initiate the employment termination process.”

I know that definition. It's the essence of the Republican Party. Democrats have been making race a major part of their agenda at least 60 years now. Yes, prior to Trump, there was some white-black racism among Republicans, but the mane bigotry was between the haves and the have nots. Democrats also wanted to take from the haves and give it to the have-nots, and that was where the Republicans drew the line.

It's bigotry and Fuck-you-I-got-mine, but it's not the huge fucking racial issue that Obama touched on and Trump kicked the doors off beginning with Charlottesville and ending with the Capitol insurrection.

It's economic. Due to US history since slavery was banned, African-Americans have, indeed, been held down against their Constitution rights. Nothing can ever fix that, but We, the People can fix the present. One way is to ensure all American kids have a first rate education. As for college, let them volunteer in the military or peace corps for two years followed by two years of college.

Really? The lowest vaccination rate atm is in Democrat held Louisiana at 36.2%. Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee have similar rates of vaccination. Seems to me to be an "Old South" problem of semi-literate morons more than something by political affiliation
