The real "war on women"

I have come to see that there is, indeed, a war on women taking place in the US. This war is waged by the left against conservative women. Take, for example, Bill Maher referring to Sarah Palin as a c**t and Sandra Bernhard insinuating that she hopes Sarah Palin is gang raped by black men. I am certainly no fan of Palin's, but that was unacceptable... and yet we didn't hear a peep from the left.

Now, S.E. Cupp is depicted in a fake pornographic image in Hustler magazine, for no other reason than being conservative.

Something tells me we won't be hearing about this on MSDNC or SeeBS, though. Nor will S.E. Cupp be receiving a call from the President. Nor will many liberals on this site condemn it.

The left has a LOT of nerve to claim that conservatives are waging a "war on women" when they're pulling this sort of shit.
 
I just told my wife this morning that it seems that conservative women are hated to the extreme by their more liberal counterparts. That was while we were watching some gal whacking the snot out of a piñata that had the S.C. Governor's face on it. I think it was on CNN.

I was listening to the local Progressive Radio. This dude is on daily, I still don't know his name, that constantly calls every Conservative woman "That Slut <insertnamehere>".
 
The war on women is not about some idiot calling an individual the c word. It is about a systemic attempt to strip women of their rights and access to certain services. it is about legislation passed that makes it more difficult for a poor woman to get access to birth control or abortion.

Conflating the two is outright stupid.

We all know HIllary clinton was called the c word constantly when running for president in fact a right wing pac was started up under the acronym C.U.N.T.

These are two different issues. Let me know when Bill Maher passes a bill forcing a woman to have a 12 inch wand stuck up her vagina.
 
I hate this sort of "where are the lefties" stuff, as though there is equivalency.

You're comparing comedians to people who actually wield power, like politicians & judges, and who are looking to change policy in a way that affects millions of women.

It's just silly.
 
And I should have clarified my point...by "more liberal counterparts" I was referencing women in particular. The women of the right who I would say we're very verbose to their left leaning counterparts are that goofy, anorexic blonde gal and the pretty Philipino looking gal who's in CO now...I think.
 
Sorry my bad. beck set a man on fire while telling people that's what Obama was doing to the american people. he actually poisoned a nancy pelosi look a like.

If we're talking about abortion, I agree. Many social conservatives want to regulate women's uteruses. However, many conservatives have also accepted that Roe v. Wade is the law of the land, and a reasonable compromise on the issue. I'm comfortable with current law. Pro-life in principle, but pro-choice as far as the law is concerned.

But I know what you're actually referring to is contraception. "Strip women of their rights"? What rights? To my knowledge, the right to free contraception never existed in the past; hence, there is no right to be stripped away. Birth control is very affordable. The only reason this is an issue is so Obama can distract us from the economy, and make Republicans look "crazy."
 
I love that "the left" has been construed on this board recently to be the New Black Panther Party and Hustler Magazine. That's awesome.
 
I love it how the best defense liberals have come up with thus far is "they do it too." And then they fail to provide examples. How sad.

I'm pretty sure I've heard that fucker... he's on AM1090 here in Seattle. Either that, or there's another lib who refers to conservative women as sluts (which wouldn't surprise me at all). I wonder if they'll be getting phone calls from the President?

And I'm betting that when most women think of the "war," they don't think of comedians calling them names. They think of politicians who are looking to limit & eradicate their rights when it comes to issues like family leave, contraception, abortion, etc., and who oppose programs like Head Start which are beneficial to them.
 
Anybody else notice they never photoshop Democrat women in these magazines, I imagine its due to the fact that most are ugly fucking cunts. Just look at Obama's wife MooMoo, Hillary, Nancy Pelosi, and all the rest of the herd.

You equate comedians calling names with politicians changing & affecting policy? This would be unsurprising, btw. You likely see these as exactly the same.
