The REAL reason the democrat party loves illegal immigration

It all comes down to power. I know some people think it is because they want cheap labor or that they think that the illegals will be automatic votes, but that isn't the REAL reason. Yes, they are part of it. But, the real reason is this

Congressional delegation and electoral college.

Every 10 years there is a census which determines how many EV votes each State will get based on population. Due to gross mismanagement and incompetence, Blue states like Commiefornia and Illinois have been bleeding citizens to other states like Florida and Texas.

Without illegal immigration they would be losing EV votes and members of Congress which obviously is the source of their power.

One simple fix is not counting illegal immigrants in the census. Do that and the democrat party will build the wall themselves because they will have no use for them.

That will never happen. They will count illegals as part of the population. We've tried to have them not counted but failed.
All municipalities blue and red will not put up with not counting, whether they are legal or not.

Let's take California. Depending on who you ask there's somewhere between 2 and 5 million illegals in the state. Let's just take the low number of 2 million.

Each House seat right now represents about 775,000 persons give or take. That means because illegals are counted in the census California gains between 2 seats in the House MINIMUM and potentially as many as 5 due entirely to illegals living in that state.

Or they could count immigrants as three fifths of a person, sound familiar

California has 1.8 million undocumented immigrants, Texas has 1.6 million, and if you add in totals from other RedStates, the Red States far out measure the Blue States (https://www.visualcapitalist.com/mapped-unauthorized-immigrants-by-state/), which blows your and the threads point

If your side really thought that illegals advantaged the GOP politically you personally would be building a wall because they would tell you to. Just like they tell you to hate Musk and you dutifully fall in line

I read somewhere that Californians leaving the state will cost them 2 or 3 seats in the House.
 
At this moment, Florida and California cannot find people to pick the crops. The wealthy farmers want access to workers. They have used migrant workers for a century to move in, pick crops and go home. They are mostly Republicans.
