Brave woman there, to specifically put her name, face, and advocacy out in the open. Hopefully she gets justice and closure. Even if it was "concensual," it was still statutory, and they still treated her cruelly and covered up a crime, and left her pregnant.
 
Another point about the claim of consent. Even in statutory rape, there are certain conditions where society can condone the act, and that is usually when the couple are very close in age such as 18/17, or they are both still minors. She was 15, and he was obviously much older, so he definitely comes accross as a predator rather than a legitimate partner. She's only 29 now, and he's like 53.
 
Which means he was 39 and she 15... he was also a "trusted authority" being an adult from her church.

Its odd the article does not once mention her parents in all of this.
