The Queen tells of her 'delight' at starring as Olympics ceremony Bond Girl

I watched it last night.....I have to be honest.....I thought the opening ceremony sucked ass........

Parts of it certainly did and I was expecting to be disappointed...however apart from the interminable pop music I thought it partrayed us well. Wonderful history, the poor and downtrodden working to build the greatest nation the world had ever seen, Isambard Kindom Brunel with his cigar, the wonderful portrayal of the National Health service, (that was for America) and of course the virtuoso performance of Mr. Bean. BUT where was Shakespeare, Dickens, where was the stirring music of Vaughan Williams, Haydn and where was the West End? West End Musicals earn huge amounts of foreign revenue. I guess you cant have everything but... the Arctic Monkeys??? Gimme a break!

Looks like if you missed the show last night you'll have to wait to see the video. Can't get it on US media right now.

is downloadable..... IF you know where to look. If I tell you Damo will kill me and then I will have to kill you.

I wasn't aware they did a feature on Chinese history. This is the London Olympics, is it not?
