Supreme Court justices have run for public office while sitting on the bench. I am at least learning more about the Supreme Court, lol

I am as well.......lol

The only one I am really familiar w/ is Louis Brandeis who did much to stop the big monopolies & was very assertive (along w/ Oliver Wendell Holmes) back in the days leading up to & during the great depression...

He took on the big guns like JP Morgan & was appointed to the Supreme court & despite the big money bankers & antisemitism he went on to make great strides in American jurisprudence..

I am listening again to an audio book called "other ppl's money" which he wrote in 1914, a couple years before he was on the Supreme court..

If you read or listen to it, it is shocking he was allowed on the bench by some of the richest & most powerful men on the planet...
