For once I can give Palin a thumbs'-up. :D

"Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum seemed to be heading toward a truce with Sarah Palin on Thursday, once again saying that “shoddy journalism” was to blame for this week's friction between the two potential presidential candidates.

Palin and Santorum traded barbs over the past few days. At issue was Palin’s decision not to attend this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference -- a choice that Santorum appeared to blame on Palin’s desire to get paid for her speaking engagements.

“They took things I said out of context and, in fact, not just out of context but they implied things that I meant when clearly I didn’t,” Santorum told ABC News in an interview at the conference. “I think it’s shoddy journalism no one called me on it, no one asked me what I meant and to my knowledge they didn’t ask the interviewer about it.”

Palin, who declined a chance to deliver the closing-night keynote speech at the convention, responded to Santorum in an Fox News interview Wednesday night.

“I will not call him the knuckle dragging Neanderthal that perhaps others would want to call him,” Palin said of Santorum, “I’ll let his wife call him that instead.”

[Dinner in the officers' mess. The captain is inebriated, but asks apparently seriously]
Capt. Jack Aubrey: Do you see those two weevils doctor?
Dr. Stephen Maturin: I do.
Capt. Jack Aubrey: Which would you choose?
Dr. Stephen Maturin: [sighs annoyed] Neither; there is not a scrap a difference between them. They are the same species of Curculio.
Capt. Jack Aubrey: If you had to choose. If you were forced to make a choice. If there was no other response...
Dr. Stephen Maturin: [Exasperated] Well then if you are going to *push* me...
[the doctor studies the weevils briefly]
Dr. Stephen Maturin: ...I would choose the right hand weevil; it has... significant advantage in both length and breadth.
[the captain thumps his fist in the table]
Capt. Jack Aubrey: There, I have you! You're completely dished! Do you not know that in the service...
[pauses]
Capt. Jack Aubrey: ...one must always choose the lesser of two weevils.
[the officers burst out in laughter]

You pinheads can do nothing but mis-characterize and outright lie about this non-issue issue.....Santorum implied nothing like the bullshit reported and Palins quip was said in a light-hearted joking manner....all you had to do was see it for yourself rather rely on the media lies....
“shoddy journalism” is being much too generous in discribing the obvious intent to ridicule both people with lies....

Yeah, I guess Palin can take a joke but you can't.
