America was forged in a rebellion against the most powerful nation-state in the world in 1776; that is when America reached the zenith of its still-nascent nationhood.
Since then, despite the shameful history of the upstart mongrel nation, who gained territory and natural resources through genocide and brute force (while abrogating too many treaties to enumerate) has been in decline, did they but realize it.
Boasting of great wealth stripped from its rightful owners by dint of subterfuge, betrayal and naked aggression is not an attitude destined to make any nation the cynosure of mankind.
No, the opposite effect has been the predictable result.
Form the very earliest days of the republic of ill-educated braggarts and confidence tricksters, the toxic nature of the so-called United States has been blatantly obvious.
Hence the stereotype of the ugly Americans, barely tolerated by other civilizations owing to fear of their warlike perfidy or suppressed by the lure of American gold. But, no love.
Contrast these savages with the ancient culture they foolishly seek to destroy.
The people of the Islamic Republic of Iran trace their origins back twenty five centuries, to the dawn of recorded history, unlike the brutal and ignorant adventurers whose avarice and rejection by their European forebears led a motley population of criminals and exiles to found the loose confederation still called "United States" only two and a half centuries ago.
We are not the same by any measure.
Your clumsy attempts to dominate our people are doomed to the same fate as suffered by the Romans, who, despite repeated efforts, never conquering, always failing.
