Call me crazy, but unless I'm a doctor or something....NO JOB IS WORTH GETTING OUT IN THIS DAMN SNOW. Its nerve wrecking watching the news each night with drivers sliding, gliding off streets, fights over spaces cleared of snow, etc...stay the hell home. This weather was so given days of warning before it hit...and typical arrogant dumb mf's waited until the last minute to get shit done, duh

You must have been born, raised, and live in the south, if you know what you are doing it isn’t the challenge you present

I have friends up North that mocked Texans during the snow storm that hit the Super Bowl held at Jerry World in 2011. We had an excuse we don't have snow plows to clear the roads. Yankees can't drive any better than we can they just have better road prep. And when they don't have good road prep they crash.

lol. This is absurd really. I live in a state with snow, and I have lived in Texas. Texans cannot drive in icy conditions. Period. Coloradans will beat them every time. I stayed off the roads in ice there because their bald assed tires and total lack of experience made them the most dangerous drivers on ice I had ever seen.

I did not say we drove great on ice but as I said we don't have good road prep. It was funny watching the Pittsburgh and Green Bay complaining and crashing.

This is from the recent storm up north. Now that is some skill full driving. I lived in Denver from 1973-75 . There was a massive blizzard around the Christmas holidays. I drove over 250 miles in hard snow and ice. I counted cars wrecked and slide off the road from Denver down towards Raton Pass. There were over 300 of them in total. I had studded snow tires on my little car. They made driving OK but I only went around 35 mph most of those 250 miles.

I went skiing at Steamboat and on the way back to Denver in a hard snow storm we were held up by a 50 car pile up. And there was a time on the same stretch of road when a jeep passed us on a snowy highway doing around 70 mph. He must have don't 8-9 doughnuts on the highway before crashing into a fence in a large area between the east and west bound highways. Coloradans are over confident in their driving ability. An unprepared road is dangerous for everyone.

This is how they drive up north

They were probably all Texan transplants. In CO we have Californicators. They come from California and have the same problem the Texans have.

While I lived in Denver some reach Texan donated 30 Acres of land in Colorado to Texas with the express condition that they made a Texas state park out of it. Of course Texas wasn't going to do that but it sure got the Coloradans riled up. But it was all over the Colorado radio. A couple times people at stop light saw my license plate and ran up to my window to flip me off. Like I had anything to do with it.

I saw a whole bunch of Colorado plates on those 300+ cars.
When people move here they register their vehicles, almost nobody here is actually from here. And 300 out of millions is nothing. I watched Dallas turn into an ice rink and well over 300 vehicles damaged in just blocks... the difference between the two, even with the transplants, is striking.

And which of the two has snow plows? Asking for a friend.

For once,..I agree with you on something. :) It really isn't their fault though,....they just don't have the experience when it comes to driving in it. What we take for granted and drive in every day for months at a time they have no clue how to handle. Pro tip for you southies................For real,......When coming up to a stopping situation on ice, well in advance take your car out of drive and put it in neutral. It will take the power off your tires and you will slow down and stop with no problems without sliding past.
